The formula for Weapon Damage in PvE is understood to be base weapon damage + character attributes. The Base Main Stat going from a 2-Star Artifact to a 3-Star Artifact is Fixed damage scaling for Executioner Nok's Deth Carabus. If the weapon has 2 stats, scaling is 90% main stat and 65% secondary stat. They can either be found in the world, received as a reward for quests and war table operations, or crafted. It can be acquired through the store or by completing an in-game challenge, as goes for the mace, a new melee weapon that's joining the fray later in the season. This stat seems pretty balanced except for the spear scaling which is much lower than any other weapon and any other attribute. The Juggernaut ability tree is focused on dealing massive damage. 4, "snapshotting" of Elemental Mastery (EM) boosted damage for the reactions Shatter, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, and Swirl was removed, and replaced with 'real-time' damage calculations.
